Creighton Bluejays

The Bluejays have never landed a five-star prospect like Flowers before but head coach Greg McDermott has built the program into a contender in the Big East. The team has struggled a bit compared to preseason expectations but still has a good shot at making the NCAA Tournament.

The one selling point if you’re Flowers is that you can come in and immediately have a leading role in the offense as a freshman. Baylor Scheierman will be gone after this season and both Arthur Kaluma and Trey Alexander also could be gone by the time the five-star recruit would arrive.

Louisville Cardinals

It’s been an awful first year for Kenny Payne and the Cardinals, currently at 2-15 and 0-6 in ACC play. If things don’t make a drastic improvement next season, there’s a chance the program will be looking for a new head coach. But Louisville is still one of the bigger names in NCAA Basketball and with the transfer portal, could easily make a turnaround.

What’s interesting is that the team already has a couple of small forward commits in the 2023 class Kaleb Glenn and Curtis Williams Jr. It’s not that they’ll threaten Flowers with playing time but it could affect how the roster looks if one of them were to emerge. There are already a bunch of wings on the current roster that in the end, the program opts to focus on more guards in the 2024 class.
