Michigan State Spartans

This seems to be an option that would never occur but I’ve seen petty decisions made between local teams. And who knows, there could be a chance that there’s bad blood between Dickinson and Michigan. If that’s the case, going to East Lansing would be the ultimate “villain” move.

Taking the rivalry aspect aside for a big, this would be a perfect option for the big man to consider. The glaring weakness for the Spartans has been at the center position for the past few years. Mady Sissoko was the starter for this past season and played okay but there definitely can be an upgrade if the right guy is available.

If that were to happen, Michigan State could make a case to be the No. 1 team for next year. They can return both of its lead guards in Tyson Walker and AJ Hoggard and also can have Malik Hall for another year. The program also has a top-5 incoming recruiting class, led by five-star forward, Xavier Booker.

There are plenty of benefits to playing for Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo and he could help Dickinson become a more viable NBA prospect. If not, he and Michigan State still would be a Final Four contender and the favorite to win the Big Ten. And again, it would be a huge stab in the back toward Michigan.
