40. FR AJ Storr – St. John’s Red Storm

2022-23 season stats: 8.8 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.8 apg

Despite having limited minutes as a freshman, Storr was very productive. He shot over 40% from three-point range and was in double figures in 12 of the final 17 games once he got into the starting lineup. That includes 23 points versus Creighton, as well as 20 points against UConn.

39. JR Abou Ousmane – North Texas Mean Green

2022-23 season stats: 11.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.1 apg

The 6’10 forward was a key piece in the NIT champion Mean Green and is one of the better two-way frontcourt players in the transfer portal. Ousmane’s offense was fairly inconsistent due to playing the slowest pace in all of NCAA Basketball but he had his moments, including scoring a career-high 37 points and 11 rebounds against Texas-San Antonio. He’s a capable shot-blocker as well, having five along with 19 points and nine rebounds versus Middle Tennessee,

38. SR Quincy Olivari – Rice Owls

2022-23 season stats: 18.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.2 apg

The 6’4 senior has been a starter for the past three years and is coming off a career-high year on offense. Olivari went for 34 points and 12 rebounds against Western Kentucky, one of 14 games with at least 20 points. He shot 36% from three-point range and also had 13 games with at least four triples made.

37. SR DJ Horne – Arizona State Sun Devils

2022-23 season stats: 12.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.1 apg

Horne has 107 career starts in four years between ASU and Illinois State, averaging 12.5 ppg in the past two years at the power conference level. The 6’1 scoring guard had five games with at least 20 points, including 25 against Northern Arizona. Horne is a capable three-point shooter as well, making 8/10 total in the team’s two NCAA Tournament games.
