4. Steven Ashworth – Utah State

Ashworth is an offensively gifted point guard who averaged 16.2 points and 4.5 assists for a Utah State team that made the NCAA Tournament this past season.

His most valuable skill is his shooting, converting at a 43.4% clip from 3-point range on more than seven attempts per game. His versatility is also noteworthy, capable of finding his shot in catch-and-shoot situations, as well as out of dribble handoffs, in transition, and even as a primary ball-handler in the pick-and-roll. Of all available mid-major transfers, Ashworth has the highest offensive rating.

Although 4.5 assists might not jump out as a flashy counting stat, Ashworth is a fantastic and willing passer, ranking sixth in the Mountain West in assist percentage.

Ashworth listed his top-four options as BYU, Creighton, Gonzaga, and Washington, per 247Sports. He also noted that returning to Utah State remained a possibility.
