Iowa Hawkeyes

Iowa is consistently one of the best offensive programs in NCAA Basketball under Coach Fran McCaffery. The recent examples include Filip Rebraca and All-American Kris Murray, both of whom are gone. They have added Valpo transfer Ben Krikke, who averaged nearly 20 ppg last season.

The Hawkeyes are another regional option whose environment is similar to what Nelson is used to at North Dakota State. And he and Krikke would be an elite frontcourt duo in the Big Ten and put up plenty of points.

Kentucky Wildcats

The Wildcats may or may not land Hunter Dickinson and they still don’t know whether or not former National Player of the Year Oscar Tshiebwe will come back next season. And while former target and five-star prospect Ron Holland is available, there’s a long way away from knowing where he’ll land.

There are also five-star incoming freshman Aaron Bradshaw and backup big Ugonna Oyenso on the roster but neither are proven players. Add a bunch of incoming freshmen and there’s a definite need for an experience frontcourt player that’s a good offensive weapon. Grant fits that and for someone with NBA aspirations and potential, this would be a potential fit.
