Arkansas Razorbacks
Under head coach Eric Musselman, the Razorbacks has become one of the top programs in NCAA Basketball over the past few years, making a pair of Elite 8s and a Sweet 16 appearance this past season. He’s been known for having a bunch of transfers each year but is coming off of adding a trio of five-star prospects out of high school, led by top-5 guard, Nick Smith. They even have a pair of top-30 incoming freshmen in Layden Blocker and Baye Fall.
Arkansas is set to be a national power in the foreseeable future as long as Musselman is around and by the time Boozer is set to arrive. Plus, the program reportedly is doing very well in the NIL department, which can only help in recruitment. The only question will be what kind of roster the top prospect is set to be around. Will he be surrounded by guards that’ll take up most of the shots or will Boozer be able to be the focal point?
Duke Blue Devils
Although Coach K isn’t around, Duke is still going to be a top option for not only Boozer but many other five-star prospects. They’re reportedly after five-star forward Cooper Flagg, who is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the 2025 class. Coach Jon Scheyer is only in his second year but has a potential No. 1 team next season, as guys like Tyrese Proctor and Kyle Filipowski have returned for another year.
There are plenty of players that have played at their parents’ alma maters but some have also opted to forge their own path. It’s going to be a hard legacy for Cameron to overcome since Carlos won a national title with the Blue Devils. Of all the spots, this is the one that makes the most sense, but also gives the prospect by far the most pressure if he picked Duke.
