11. Georgia Bulldogs at Florida State Seminoles
It was an incredibly brutal past year for Coach Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles, winning just nine total games due to injuries and awful team defense. Changes occurred as a result, with both Matthew Cleveland and Caleb Mills transferring out. Darin Green and Jalen Warley are back, joined by Georgetown transfer, Primo Spears.
However, Spears will need a waiver to be able to play next season. Otherwise, the backcourt will lack depth. The hope is that the frontcourt will have more depth this time around, with both Cam’Ron Fletcher and Jaylan Gainey coming back from season-ending injuries.
Georgia is going the depth route too in Coach Mike White’s second year. He’s brought in some interesting pieces, starting with 19.5 ppg scorer, Noah Thomasson. He and Illinois transfer RJ Melendez should be a solid backcourt, along with top-100 incoming freshmen, Blue Cain, and Silas Demary.
These are a couple of rosters that have potential next season and all eyes will be on FSU to see if they can make a bounce-back after last year. Plus, can the Bulldogs take a leap into the top half of the SEC next season?
