In a week where there have been a lot of updates with respective NCAA Basketball recruitments, another one to watch is Jaiden Glover. He’s a consensus four-star prospect in the 2024 class, listed at 6’6 and over 190 pounds. Originally from Brooklyn and Newark, he’s one of the top prospects from the state of New Jersey.

With his size and pure scoring ability, Glover is a top regional option for programs from the Northeast and beyond. He’s not provided a list of teams in the running, down to eight. Here’s a look at how he’d fit with each situation as soon as his freshman season.

Creighton Bluejays

The starting wing for the Bluejays next season is Baylor Scheierman, who is in his final NCAA Basketball year. Behind him are a few unproven options, including Memphis transfer Chandler Lawson and incoming freshman Sterling Knox. Glover would get a rotation spot at Creighton if he picks this option and this is a program with a known reputation for developing offensive talents.

Illinois Fighting Illini

Illinois has multiple wings on the roster that’s leaving after next season, including leading scorer Terrence Shannon Jr. along with Southern Illinois transfer, Marcus Domask. The team also recently landed four-star wing Morez Johnson a few weeks ago. This is a program that loves to have a bunch of wings so that doesn’t matter but still, the Illini may opt to focus on guards and bigs if they feel confident Johnson can be an impact player himself.
