NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing top 8 teams for 4-star Jaiden Glover
Ohio State Buckeyes
The Buckeyes have a good track record with guards/wings and going to the NBA Draft early, with Malaki Branham and Brice Sensabaugh being the latest examples. There is a bit of a current logjam on the wings, as the team brought in top-60 wing Scotty Middleton while having both Roddy Gayle Jr. and Bowen Hardman coming off redshirt seasons. Without knowing how good Middleton and Devin Royal are, it’s hard to tell if Glover has a path toward minutes here.
Providence Friars
The Friars are pretty set at the wing position for next season, even with Justyn Fernandez potentially out for a while after suffering an offseason injury. George Mason transfer Davonte Gaines has one more year left, while Devin Carter is a legit pro candidate to watch. If that happens, Glover can come in and potentially start for Providence, who’ll be losing a lot of key pieces after next year.
Saint Joe’s Hawks
The Hawks are set to have one of the best backcourts in NCAA Basketball next season, including star guard, Cameron Brown. He’s leaving after next season, creating a clear path for Glover to be the next star player for the A-10 program. The one concern here to watch is whether head coach Billy Lange can survive one more year if St. Joe’s doesn’t become a contender in the league this upcoming season.
