4. Junior Robinson

Robinson has a fantastic run at Mount St. Mary’s, starting nearly all of the 131 games he played across four years in Jamion Christian’s program. A 5’7 point guard from Mebane, North Carolina, he never let his size get in the way of his explosive play, becoming a major backcourt in the NEC between 2014 and 2018.

His numbers as an underclassman weren’t too shabby, as he’d average 12.5 points and 3.1 assists in that sophomore season. Junior year was a bit of a breakthrough for the Mountaineers, as another fine season from Robinson brought them to a NEC Tournament title and a First Four victory over New Orleans in 2017. In his final collegiate season, Robinson averaged 22.0 points and 4.8 assists, having by far his best individual season for the Mountaineers, including a career-high 39 points against Loyola-Maryland and 10 assists at Ohio.

There was plenty of good in Robinson’s career at Mount St. Mary’s. He earned Second Team All-NEC honors as a sophomore and junior, developing into an important piece on an NCAA Tournament squad. For his big senior year, he was given NEC Player of the Year, a testament to some incredible work don throughout his career, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Robinson was one of the most important players Mount St. Mary’s has had in recent memory and was vital to the program’s success in the mid-2010’s.
