24. Dyami Starks

Starks is a 6’2 combo guard originally from Duluth, Minnesota who began his career at Columbia, joining new head coach Kyle Smith’s program way back in 2010. After limited minutes, he left the Lions after his freshman season and transferred to Bryant. Starks already showed potential in his first year aboard, but was really cooking in his upperclassman seasons for the Bulldogs.

Starks was a potent long-range shooter, making 37% of those shots during a junior year where he averaged 18.9 points per game. He was an elite free throw shooter and an important contributor for the Bulldogs. Bryant finished 3rd place in the NEC in that season and would get 2nd place in Starks’ senior year. That junior year also included three 35-point efforts away from home during nonconference play, with Starks establishing himself early in the season.

After earning Second Team All-NEC honors for that fantastic junior year, Starks earned the First Team nod for a senior season where he led the NEC in scoring and was 6th in the nation in free throw shooting percentage. His offensive numbers were outstanding and he led the Bulldogs near the top of the NEC standings in those last few seasons.
