March 13-17 – Big Ten Conference Tournament

The Hoosiers have a good mix of challenges in their non-conference schedule before Big Ten action begins. They’ll play a few early conference games during the first week of December, which explains the gap from Nov. 26 to Dec. 9.

Indiana opens the season with a trio of home games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall against Florida Gulf Coast then Army and Wright State before squaring off with last year’s National Champions in UConn in the Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden.

It will be the team’s first meeting since 2019, back when the Hoosiers won 57-54 to snap a losing streak. Coach Woodson will look to keep the winning streak alive in what should be a battle. The Hoosiers will square off against Texas/Louisville depending on the outcomes.

Indiana returns home on Nov. 26 to host Harvard then they’ll host the Auburn Tigers when they return to the non-conference slate on Dec. 9. The home slate gets spicier after they host Auburn when the Kansas Jayhawks come to town on Dec. 16. The Hoosiers will look to avenge an 84-62 loss they suffered at Phog Allen this past season.

The schedule cools off heading into the conference portion as the Hoosiers close things out with Morehead State, North Alabama then Kennesaw State. Kennesaw State isn’t a team they should sleep on, though.

The Hoosiers have a well-balanced rotation, especially in the frontcourt, which should carry them in Big Ten action. It may not amount to 12 wins, but it should certainly put them in a good position in the conference standings. Look for them to finish in the middle of the pack with 8-9 wins on the Big Ten schedule.
