10. Oklahoma (11-0)

No matter what has happened in recent years, this current Oklahoma team is making any of that disappointment disappear. Porter Moser had some uneven results in his first few seasons with the Sooners but this unbeaten start has expectations quickly rising in this team’s first year in the SEC. How did Oklahoma keep that perfect start going this past week?

Oklahoma’s only contest this past week came in Charlotte at the Jumpman Invitational and it was quite the contest. The Sooners used a late 4-point play to secure an 87-86 victory over a ranked Michigan squad for their 11th consecutive win. Jeremiah Fears shined with 30 points while Duke Miles added 17 and Jalon Moore scored 16 against the Wolverines.

They didn’t play the world’s toughest schedule, but this 11-0 start is no fluke for a Sooners team that beat Arizona, Louisville, and Providence before this week. This offense in particular has looked sharp especially in recent weeks and it’ll be really fascinating to see if this team lives up to this hot start in their first year of SEC play. Before that begins, two more weak mid-majors are on the schedule, starting with Central Arkansas before the holiday.
