24. Nevada Wolf Pack - 22-6 (9-5 Mountain West)

The Wolf Pack has done a good job at avoiding a bad loss to the bottom of the conference and thanks to a recent win streak, has put itself in a position to potentially winning the regular-season title. They needed to go 2-0 to do both that and remain on the right side of the bubble.

Up first was a home game against Wyoming, which Nevada didn’t overlook. They were up 23 points at halftime, before coasting to a 76-58 victory. Tre Coleman led the way with 20 points and four assists, while Jarod Lucas had 19. Kenan Blackshear, who normally leads them in scorer, played the facilitator role, dishing out eight assists in the blowout win.

Up next was a road battle at San Jose State, one of the few games left that could really hurt Nevada’s resume. It was a close game at the half before a 50-point scoring outburst in the final 20 minutes gave the Wolf Pack an 85-63 win. Nick Davison was the star this time around, producing 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Lucas went for 20. Hunter McIntosh dropped 18 points off the bench.

Nevada takes on its toughest opponent left in the regular season, going on the road at Colorado State. After that, is a home battle with Fresno State. If the Wolf Pack can find a way to go 2-0, they may end up in first place in the Mountain West standings.
