25. South Florida Bulls - 20-5 (13-1 AAC)

At the start of the season, the AAC was all about Memphis and FAU at the top, with the question being would a third team step up? That’s been answered, at least in the conference itself, with South Florida emerging in first place by two games. They had their biggest game in recent program history last week at home against FAU and in a sold-out crowd, pulled off the big win.

The final score was 90-86, with South Florida holding onto a 15-point halftime lead despite allowing 55 second-half points to the Owls. Selton Miguel led the team with 25 points off the bench, while Chris Youngblood chipped in with 23 points.

The Bulls had to avoid a letdown a few days later, going on the road to take on Texas-San Antonio. It was a close game and South Florida was in danger a little bit but ultimately was able to hold on for the 66-61. The bench carried them to victory, led by 17 points from Miguel, along with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists from Kasean Pryor.

There’s a chance that South Florida could win the regular-season title if things go their way this upcoming week. They have a big home battle with SMU on Sunday, followed by a road game against Charlotte on the week. The 49ers have been a nice surprise themselves so the Bulls need to be careful.
