Jack Robison

Robison is a three-star small forward out of Lakeville, Minnesota, standing at 6-foot-6. Oddly enough, Robison is the fourth player from Lakeville North High School to commit to the Badgers, according to Wisconsin’s athletics official website, firmly demonstrating the Badgers’ already-established recruiting pipeline from the state of Minnesota.

Where Jack Robison fits in the rotation

Although Robison is listed as a wing, he is a versatile piece who can slot in at the SG spot if needed. However, he is primarily a wing given his longer frame. Robison is a skilled left-handed sharpshooter with a soft touch in the paint, possessing a diverse skill set that gives the Badgers more depth with their wings.

Robison’s role is a bit of an “unknown” heading into the 2024-25 season. For one, he can be a viable option to back up Max Klesmit and John Blackwell at the two. However, because he is a more natural fit at the SF spot, he can also be a solid backup option for John Tonje. Yet, John Blackwell can also come into play there too given his ability to score off the ball. Despite his role being a bit of a mystery, the upside is there, meaning Robison can be a critical piece in the Badgers’ rotation moving forward.
