Gonzaga Bulldogs +2400/240-1 – This is the ultimate teaser program. Mark Few will have the depth and talent to make major noise every season, be right on the cusp of breaking through, and simply won’t get that one win they need to live up to the hype.

Last season they were ousted by the eventual NCAA Champion Duke Blue Devils, so there is some consolation in taking that loss. But people are still wondering when Gonzaga is going to breakthrough and get that elusive championship.

2015-16 could possibly be the season Mark Few and his squad get it done. They are going to have an inexperienced backcourt due to the fact that they lost guards Kevin Pangos, Byron Wesley and Gary Bell.

But the Zags’ are returning a strong frontline rotation led by 6-foot-10 Kyle Wiltjer, 7-foot-1 Przemek Karnowski, and 6-foot-10 Domantas Sabonis who is going to possibly be a Top 10 draft pick in the NBA Draft.

If Gonzaga’s guard play catches on quick, they are going to be right in the thick of things again.

But are they worth dropping money on at 240-1? No, I don’t think so!

Iowa State Cyclones +2400/240-1 – Now putting a few shekels on the Cyclones to win it all even after Fred Hoiberg decided to bolt for the Chicago Bulls coaching job is not to bad of an idea.

The Cyclones are returning four players that averaged double-figures from last seasons club, with senior George Niang leading the way with his 15.3 points per contest.

Iowa State decided to replace “The Mayor” with Steve Prohm who did an outstanding job as the head man at Murray State.

The Cyclones will also have the services of 6-foot-3 guard Halice Cooke, who shot 46% from three-point land as a freshman at Oregon State before transferring to Ames .

Iowa State is going to be highly motivated when March rolls around after taking a loss to UAB in the Round of 64 during March Madness.

With the experience that is returning to the court for Prohm, and the talented transfers that are coming in, it is not out of the realm of possibility for Iowa State to have a say in the NCAA Championship picture and possibly play their way into the crown.
