SG Cooper Neese – Cloverdale, Indiana

Rankings across recruiting sites: ESPN (Three-star), 247 (Three-star), Scout (Three-star)

One of the best overall shooters in this incoming freshman class around the country, Cooper Neese can splash. During his senior season for Cloverdale High School, Neese shot 38% from three at 118-for-309. This potency from behind the arc also allowed him to beat his man and finish from mid-range and around the rim. He did this all to the tune of a smooth 27.2 points per game. At 6’4″, Neese is also a solid rebounder, snagging 9.5 rebounds per game.

His playmaking ability at the shooting guard position is also impressive, where he dished 2.6 assists per game and averaged 2.2 steals per game, opening up transition opportunities for him and his teammates. Neese can be an immediate help to Butler because of his ability to shoot the three, but there is so much more about his game that makes him a special talent.
