James Bouknight is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard that recently received an offer from the Hokies as the live period comes to an end. Bouknight has been running with the PSA Cardinals (NY) squad in the EYBL.

He’s coming off a torn meniscus injury he suffered at the end of the high school season. Since then, he’s been working to get back to 100 percent on the basketball court. At the HoopGroup Summer Jam Fest, he put up 33 points in his return to the PSA Cardinals lineup.
Now, that he’s healthy, teams are starting to take notice. Virginia Tech offered him recently as did Indiana and Illinois. Going into his senior year, Bouknight looks like a player that will garner more of the national spotlight. Things are just heating up as Virginia Tech is one team in heavy pursuit of the 6-foot-5 sharpshooter. Let’s hope the Virginia Tech Hokies can seal the deal.
