Who makes the cut?

Even with all the additions to the roster, three schools – Providence, DePaul, and St. John’s – still did not have enough players for a starting lineup. That’s when I dove overseas. I understand there are players in the international leagues who are probably better than some G-Leaguers on the list (Rotnei Clarke might fit better than Kethan Savage for Butler’s team, for example), but for the sake of simplicity (and my own sanity), I tried to use the players that are under the NBA umbrella for this experiment.

Here are all 10 teams, with their accompanying seeds:

1. Marquette Golden Eagles

G Dwight Buycks, G Dwyane Wade, G Wesley Matthews, G/F Jimmy Butler, F Henry Ellenson

2. Villanova Wildcats

G Kyle Lowry, G Josh Hart, F Mikal Bridges, F Dante Cunningham, F Omari Spellman
