Oklahoma State Cowboys

Oklahoma State has put together one of the nation’s more surprising 2019 classes to this point. Thanks to five current commits (four in the top-150), the Cowboys hold the No. 20 overall class in the country – third in the Big 12. Head coach Mike Boynton has clearly been busy and he could be adding yet another jewel in the form of Jalen Wilson. Due to the nature of the program’s current status, Wilson would be joining an incredibly talented but also inexperienced roster.

Stillwater has not necessarily been a top destination for basketball talent in the past but the coaching staff seems to have the program trending in the right direction. At the moment, it does not seem as though there are any major threats to leave the program early over the next few years and this class has the potential to be special down the road if Wilson decides to join the fray.

The Cowboys have been quite patient and diligent with regards to landing commitments so far and they could put a full-court press on recruiting Wilson to finalize their 2019 class at this point. They have already filled a ton of rotational holes this offseason and it would be hard to pass up a talent of Wilson’s caliber if they are able to make an impactful recruiting pitch.
