Justin Turner (Bowling Green)

2019-2020: 18.4 Points, 4.6 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists

Justin Turner had a great season at Bowling Green with a team that was looking to make the tournament and win the MAC tournament. Bowling Green was the number two seed heading into the MAC tournament. Turner was a first-team All Mac selection this season as well as in 2018-2019.

Another guy that’s at the top of a lot of coaches lists, he’s an impressive shooter, making 108 three-pointers this past season. Turner would have one year left to play as he would be a graduate transfer.

For UConn, Turner would be a great scoring option and a nice addition to the backcourt, a guy that can create his own shots and can get to the rim. Turner would be a huge boost to a UConn team that will have R.J Cole eligible as well. R.J Cole averaged 22 points per game with Howard before sitting out last season.

Add in Bouknight and that backcourt would be scary good, getting all three on the court at the same time would force UConn to play a small-ball lineup, something they did a lot of this past season anyways.

Jeff Borzello reported that UConn had reached out to Justin Turner.
