11. Ole Miss Rebels

Kermit Davis has been successful on the recruiting trail lately, pulling in 4-star guards Matthew Murrell and Daeshun Ruffin to lead the 2020 and 2021 classes respectively. Backcourt players of similar talents, like Devontae Schuler, Breein Tyree, and Terence Davis have thrived in Coach Davis’s guard-centric system. The Rebels problems, however, have largely resulted from a lack of depth on the floor to compete at a high enough level.

The lack of depth exposed Ole Miss’s inefficiencies scoring the ball throughout the year, especially from the 3-point line. Adding White’s perimeter talents and shooting strengths from all over the floor would be a strong complement to Ruffin and Murrell in 2021. Much like Miami’s Chris Lykes, Ruffin will draw a tremendous amount of defensive focus from their opponents freeing White to make rhythm shots all over the floor.

The extra space White will receive in this offense is going to allow for his creativity as a ball-handler to also emerge. As a combo guard in high school, he thrived in creating for his team by attacking the interior of the defense and dumping off to a better scoring option. The Rebels would be in really good hands combining White with their dangerous potential duo of Ruffin and Murrell.
