Colorado Buffaloes

McKinley Wright IV has been one of the best overall point guards out west in the past couple of years. But he’ll graduate after next season, leaving a huge hole for the Buffs to deal with. Redshirt freshman Keeshawn Barthelemy could be the answer in the future but the team, who didn’t land any point guards in the 2020 class, will certainly grab at least one ball-handler in the 2021 group.

With the main core of Colorado Basketball all being upperclassmen, Brizzi would be joining an entirely new rotation. But there could be some promise, led by incoming four-star freshman shooting guard Dominique Clifford. He and Brizzi could be a strong backcourt duo for future years, allowing the coaching staff to focus on rebuilding the frontcourt.

Dartmouth Big Green

As an Ivy League school, Dartmouth has its own compelling case for Brizzi. And it’s not unheard of for top-100 talent to play in the conference, as the Harvard Crimson has shown in recent years. And if immediate playing time plays into it, Brizzi could arguably be the Green’s best player on the 2021-22 roster.

That’s because they’ll be losing all of their main rotation players outside of Taurus Samuels by then, including Chris Knight and Aaryn Rai. The problem will be that Dartmouth would have a slim chance of being in the top half of the Ivy League, even with Brizzi. If winning games is a factor, the Green will likely miss out on this prospect.
