Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans aren’t bringing back any double-digit scorers from this past season but have been reworking the roster. The frontcourt remains intact though, despite there being major production problems outside of Joey Hauser, who himself was disappointing at times.

The center position is an issue right now and adding a double-digit scorer such as Brooks would do wonders for the Spartans offense overall. He and Hauser would work well together since the current Michigan State forward can spread the floor with his shooting ability. And Brooks’ game is a natural fit in the Big Ten as well. He’d be a big upgrade over current centers, Mady Sissoko and Marcus Bingham.

Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Bulldogs may actually be the favorite to land Brooks if family is involved, as his father currently is on the staff. The senior big man could very well go there and replace Abdul Ado as the starting center and play alongside Tolu Smith in the frontcourt.

If guards DJ Stewart and Iverson Molinar, who each averaged over 16 ppg this past season, come back for another year, Mississippi State could very well be an NCAA Tournament team in 2022 with Brooks. And if the player has concerns about being mismanaged, what’s better than being developed up close and personal by his father for a year?
