(@NoSnakesLBK ) – “Who of our current targets are we most likely to get?”

Landing Kevin Obanor has been the primary focus for the Texas Tech staff the last few weeks. Obanor, one of the stars from last year’s NCAA Tournament, is an absolute nightmare matchup for most teams. At 6’8, Kevin was the best shooting big man in all of college basketball last season connecting on 46% of his 3-pt shots and shooting 88% from the FT line. He also averaged an impressive 9.6 rebounds per game.

Obanor released a top-2 recently and will choose between Texas Tech & Arkansas. Multiple reports have come out indicating Texas Tech will land the star transfer but he has not announced it himself at this point. I’d expect this news to become official any day now.

Mark Adams could also look to add another guard via the transfer portal but it would need to be the right fit for the staff. Other than that, it’s fair to say the staff will begin to shift their focus to the class of 2022.
