NCAA Basketball: 2021-22 season preview based on quotes from the “Sopranos”

This is a public plea to Drew Timme. Drew, I respect your game immensely. No one in the NCAA has better footwork than you in the low post. I do have a major gripe with you, however.
This is America. It’s a free country. That being said, I’ve done my research and come to my own personal decision on the matter. The mustache finger wag celebration. It was fun the first time. Near the end of the year, it made me want to puke when I saw it. Maybe it was my overall contempt for Gonzaga, but it seemed overused and corny by March.
I completely understand it after a big bucket in a tight game vs UCLA or another top dog, but when you’re up 30 against Pepperdine on a random Thursday night in January, I think maybe you should just run back on defense and work on your pick-and-roll coverages. That’s just me, though.
At the end of the day, you’ll be a millionaire next year and I’ll be making memes, but at least I’ll be able to sleep at night knowing I hustle back on D during my pickup games (and that’s coming from someone who scored 52 points in a YMCA game in high school, not some random clown).
