12. Boston College Eagles – 11-13 (5-8)

Even since big man Quinten Post came back from injury, the Eagles have been much more competitive in ACC Basketball. And they made their biggest statement of the season earlier in the week, at home against the 1st place Clemson Tigers.

It was a slugfest in the first half, with neither team getting much going. But Boston College went on a 20-2 run in a span of six minutes to take a double-digit second-half lead, one that they were ultimately able to hold on for the 62-54 victory. Makai Ashton-Langford led the team with 15 points and six steals in the upset, while Jaeden Zachery had 13.

The Eagles stayed at home to take on Syracuse, who were much more potent offensively than the Tigers. It ended up being too much offense for BC to keep up with, as they fell 77-68. Post led the team with 18 points, while both Zackery and Ashton-Langford were in double-digits again. They had some success against the zone but not efficiently enough, making 11/35 from three-point range.

The Eagles look to continue to play spoiler at the Clemson takedown, with Virginia Tech and NC State up next. They already have a win over the Hokies and look to get the season sweep this week.
